Earthbag building is far less resource intensive than conventional construction, but we’re still going to need quite a bit of stuff to get us started. Our goal is to salvage and upcycle as much as possible, locally whatever we can, but also carried in with volunteers, and to source consumables in an ecologically conscious manner.
We’ll need a steady supply of consumables like bags and barbed wire, some wood and hardware to build reusable door forms and dome measuring jigs, a few bigger ticket items like wood stoves and windows, and enough tools to put it all together.
